Is AIApply Legit? Honest Review, Pricing & Credits (2026)

Is AIApply legit? How its subscription and Auto-Apply credits work, what users report on Trustpilot and Reddit, and how it compares in 2026.

AIApply review card covering key features, pricing breakdown and alternatives compared on a violet JobsAICopilot cover

Yes, AIApply is legit: it is a real, UK-registered company whose tools generate tailored resumes, cover letters and applications. But it is not a single-price product. A Premium subscription covers the writing and interview tools, while Auto-Apply, the feature the brand is named after, runs on separately purchased credits, and prices only appear after you sign up. That structure explains most of the complaints you will read.

Key takeaways

  • AIApply is a legitimate business: AIApply Ltd, company number 15200716, based in Leicester, UK.
  • Pricing has two parts: a Premium subscription (monthly or annual) and Auto-Apply credit packs, such as 100 or 250 credits, where one credit is one application. No dollar prices are published on its public pages as of October 2026.
  • There is a limited free tier but no timed free trial; students get 40% off Premium.
  • On October 7, 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 1,917 reviews, while Reddit threads include complaints such as “Aiapply was a waste of money.”
  • Its Interview Buddy gives live answer suggestions during real interviews, which raises honesty questions you should weigh.

What is AIApply?

AIApply describes itself as an “AI-powered job search co-pilot.” Its public pages, checked on October 7, 2026, list these tools:

  • AI Resume Builder and AI Cover Letter Generator, which tailor documents to each job description
  • Auto-Apply, which will “source matching listings, tailor your documents, and submit applications for you”
  • AI Mock Interview and Interview Buddy, a live assistant that gives “real-time answer suggestions and talking points through your earpiece or screen” during interviews
  • Resume Scanner, Resume Translator, LinkedIn to Resume and a job board the site says holds “20M+ jobs”

The company behind it is AIApply Ltd (company number 15200716), Suite 4, New Humberstone House, Leicester, UK. The site claims more than 2 million users and says “61% of users get an interview in first 10 days.” Those are AIApply’s own figures; we could not verify them.

If you are comparing it with other ways to automate applications, it helps to separate two jobs: finding openings (automated job search) and filling in and submitting forms (AI automated job application). AIApply does both, but bills them differently. JobsAICopilot, which publishes this blog, includes both in one weekly price (see pricing).

How AIApply pricing and credits work

AIApply’s pricing page redirects to its homepage, and the homepage FAQ explains the model without numbers:

  • Premium subscription. “The main Premium (or Pro) subscription gives individual job seekers unlimited access to the resume builder, cover letter generator, interview prep tools, job board, and more, available monthly or annually (with a discount for annual billing).”
  • Auto-Apply credits. “If you want the platform to submit applications for you, add Auto-Apply credits. Credits are sold in packs (e.g., 100 or 250).” On the Auto-Apply page: “Each credit is one job application. Buy credits as needed, they never expire.”
  • What costs extra. “The only à la carte component is Auto-Apply credits.”
  • Free tier. “Instead of a timed trial, we provide a limited free tier,” such as generating a sample cover letter or browsing the job board.
  • Students. “40% off on all AIApply premium features with your student email.”

What this means in practice: your real cost depends on how many applications you want sent. Someone applying to 10 jobs a week needs far fewer credits than someone targeting 50 a day, so check the in-app price of the subscription and the credit pack together before you pay.

We have removed the price table from an earlier version of this review: AIApply no longer publishes prices publicly, and the old table showed the same monthly figure for every billing period.

Results: what AIApply users report

The tools do what they say. Resume and cover letter generation, the ATS scanner and Auto-Apply all produce real output, and Auto-Apply lets you “review drafts before they’re sent.” The site says Auto-Apply “can create tailored application documents and complete multi-step applications automatically across supported platforms,” but it does not list which platforms are supported.

Whether it gets you hired is a different question, and the answer depends on your field, your resume and how carefully you set it up. Here is what independent sources showed on October 7, 2026:

SourceWhat it shows
Trustpilot4.3 out of 5 from 1,917 reviews (Google rich result)
Reddit, r/jobsearchhacksA thread titled “Aiapply was a waste of money” with 40+ comments
Reddit, r/cscareerquestionsA 120+ comment thread asking whether anyone landed an interview and offer using AI apply tools
LinkedIn review (career professional)Calls it “ridiculously expensive for what it is,” noting the basic plan “processes all the applications in one or two days”
Independent review sitesGenerally conclude it is not a scam but advise caution before buying Auto-Apply credits

The pattern is consistent. The writing tools get good marks, while complaints cluster around three things:

  1. Auto-Apply costs extra. Users who expected the subscription to include automated applications were surprised to need credits. AIApply’s FAQ does say credits are separate, but it is easy to miss.
  2. Match quality. Some users report applications to roles that do not fit their level or location, so narrow your filters and review drafts.
  3. Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically; cancel in settings before the renewal date if you do not want to continue.

Interview Buddy and AI-detection claims

Two of AIApply’s selling points deserve a closer look.

Interview Buddy gives live suggestions during real interviews on Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. Practising with AI is useful; getting fed answers during a live interview is something many employers consider dishonest, and some interview processes explicitly ask candidates not to use AI assistance. If you use it, use it to practise, not to perform.

AI detection. AIApply’s FAQ says employers “generally” can’t tell you used AI, and its student page claims its models are “advanced enough to bypass AI-detection.” We would not rely on that. Recruiters judge whether your answers are specific, consistent with your resume and backed by examples, and no tool can supply experience you do not have.

How to cancel AIApply and get a refund

  1. Cancel in settings. “You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Subscriptions renew automatically, so turning it off stops the next charge.”
  2. Keep or use your credits. Auto-Apply credits are bought separately and, according to AIApply, never expire.
  3. Ask for a refund if something went wrong. AIApply says it handles “refund requests on a case-by-case basis and often provide[s] prorated refunds or credits when issues arise.” There is no stated money-back guarantee.
  4. Check the Terms of Service for billing specifics before you subscribe.

How we reviewed AIApply

We reviewed AIApply’s public website, homepage FAQ, Auto-Apply page and student page on October 7, 2026, and checked Trustpilot, Reddit, LinkedIn and independent reviews through Google the same day. We did not buy a paid plan for this update, so prices and limits are described only as AIApply states them, and user experiences are quoted from their sources. Our editorial policy explains how we review tools, including competitors of JobsAICopilot.

Verdict: is AIApply legit? (October 2026)

Yes. AIApply is a legitimate, UK-registered company with working tools and a 4.3 Trustpilot rating from almost 2,000 reviews. Its weak spot is pricing clarity: no public prices, a subscription that does not include automated applications, and credits that you buy on top.

AIApply is a good fit if you:

  • Want strong AI resume and cover letter writing plus interview practice in one place
  • Apply to a modest number of jobs and are happy paying per application
  • Like having a free tier to test the writing tools first

Look elsewhere if you:

  • Want one predictable price that includes daily automated applications
  • Need applications sent at high volume to company career pages
  • Are uncomfortable with live AI help during real interviews

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have a question?

Write to contact@jobsaicopilot.com or visit our contact page.

Does AIApply actually work?

Yes, AIApply is a working product: its resume and cover letter tools generate real documents, and Auto-Apply submits real applications using credits. On October 7, 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 1,917 reviews. Complaints focus on Auto-Apply costing extra, mismatched roles and billing, so review drafts before they are sent and track your response rate.

How much does AIApply cost per month?

AIApply does not publish prices on its public pages; as of October 2026 its pricing URL redirects to the homepage and prices appear after you sign up. It sells a Premium subscription, monthly or annual, plus Auto-Apply credit packs such as 100 or 250 credits, where one credit equals one application. Check the in-app total before paying.

How do I cancel my AIApply subscription?

Cancel from your AIApply account settings. Its FAQ says subscriptions renew automatically and turning renewal off stops the next charge. Auto-Apply credits are bought separately and, according to AIApply, never expire. Refunds are handled case by case, sometimes as prorated refunds or credits, so contact support if you were charged for something you did not use.

Is AIApply free?

Partly. AIApply offers a limited free tier, such as a sample cover letter and job board browsing, but no timed free trial. Full access to the writing and interview tools needs a paid Premium subscription, and Auto-Apply needs separately purchased credits. Students who verify a student email can get 40% off Premium, according to its student page.

Is AIApply worth it?

It can be if you want an all-in-one writing toolkit with interview practice and are happy to pay per application for Auto-Apply. It is less attractive if you want a predictable, all-inclusive price for daily automated applications. Compare the subscription plus the credits you would actually need against flat-priced auto-apply tools before you buy.

Is an AI interview legit?

AI interview tools are legitimate in two forms: mock interviews you practise with, and real one-way interviews some employers run and score with software. Using an AI assistant to feed you answers during a live interview is different; it can break an employer's interview rules, so check the employer's guidance before relying on real-time help.
