FastApply Review (2026): Is FastApply Legit and Worth Paying For?
FastApply is a legit auto-apply extension with 5 free applications and plans from $14 a month, but its Trustpilot score is about 2.5. Our 2026 review.
FastApply is a legitimate AI auto-apply tool from FastApply LTD, delivered mainly as a Chrome extension with a web dashboard. It fills in and submits applications on more than 20 job platforms and applicant tracking systems (including Indeed, Glassdoor, Greenhouse, Lever and, in beta, Workday), tailors resumes and cover letters on its Pro and Elite plans, and offers a Co-Pilot mode where you approve each application. You get five free applications; paid plans start at $14 a month (October 2026). It is a capable, affordable tool, but its early Trustpilot rating of about 2.5 and its automation on job boards whose terms restrict bots are real caveats.
Key takeaways
- FastApply runs in two ways: “Browse & Apply” in your browser, and “Apply for Me” background automations on its servers.
- Five free applications, then plans from $14 a month; the 90-Day Sprint option costs $12.67, $25 or $44 a month for 200, 500 or 1,000 applications.
- Co-Pilot mode lets you review each application; full autonomous and stealth modes are also offered.
- Early ratings are weak: Trustpilot shows about 2.5 from 8 reviews and the Chrome Web Store about 3.3, according to search results.
- LinkedIn and Indeed both prohibit unauthorized automation, so extension-based applying on those sites carries account risk.
Below we explain how it works and how it compares with JobsAICopilot, our AI job application bot.
How we reviewed: we read FastApply’s homepage, pricing page and FAQ on October 7, 2026, compared them with Trustpilot and Chrome Web Store ratings shown in search results, and checked the automation rules of LinkedIn and Indeed. We did not buy a plan.
What is FastApply?
FastApply calls itself a “Free AI Job Application Tool” that can “auto-apply to 100+ jobs with tailored resume & cover letter.” Its company description reads: “AI-powered job application platform connecting 20+ job discovery platforms with support for 150+ ATS form variations.”

Its social proof varies by page: the homepage says “Trusted by 10,000+ job seekers” with a “4.9 · 15+ reviews” badge, while the pricing page says “4.9/5 from 600+ users” and “2M+ applications sent.” These are the company’s own figures.
How FastApply works
The pricing page explains the two engines clearly, and the distinction matters:
- Browse & Apply (in your browser). You pick jobs, or set a search and start a run, and the extension fills in each application while you watch. It “works across Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter and 20+ more,” and the tab must stay open. This is the only mode on the free plan.
- Apply for Me (on FastApply’s servers). You set roles, locations and a match threshold once; FastApply watches for new jobs and applies “only above the match score you set,” even when your laptop is closed. Starter and Pro include one background automation, Elite two.
On top of that, you choose how much control to keep. Co-Pilot Mode lets you “review and approve each application before submission,” while Auto-Pilot applies automatically once preferences are set. FastApply says an application takes about two minutes on average, and that resumes are rewritten per job to emphasize matching skills and keywords on Pro and Elite.
FastApply’s FAQ answers the safety question this way: the extension “mimics natural human behavior when submitting applications,” and your credentials “are never stored on our servers.” Keep that phrase in mind when reading the platform rules below.
If you are building your own workflow instead, the same pieces exist separately: an AI resume creator for per-job versions, a tool for automated job applications on company career pages and an AI job tracker to log everything you send.
Fast Apply AI modes: which one should you use?
FastApply’s flexibility is also its trap: the same subscription can behave like a careful assistant or like a volume bot, depending on the mode you pick. A sensible progression:
| Stage | Mode | Why |
|---|---|---|
| First week | Browse & Apply with Co-Pilot | You see every field, catch wrong answers and learn how the AI fills screening questions |
| Weeks two and three | Apply for Me with a high match threshold, Co-Pilot still on | Background discovery saves time while you still approve each submission |
| After that, if quality holds | Auto-Pilot for a narrow job profile | Only once the tailored resumes and answers consistently look right |
Two settings deserve extra care. First, the match threshold: a low threshold multiplies applications to roles you would not accept, which wastes credits and can make you look unfocused to a recruiter who sees several of your applications. Second, file uploads and required fields: review summaries mention that the bot can stall on mandatory uploads, so check your tracker for half-finished applications rather than assuming every run succeeded. Stealth or fully autonomous modes add speed but remove your last chance to catch mistakes, so keep them for the narrowest, best-tested profiles.
Pricing and plans (October 2026)
FastApply publishes its prices, which is a point in its favor. The page offers monthly, 90-Day Sprint and yearly (-40%) billing; these are the 90-Day Sprint prices shown by default:
| Plan | 90-Day Sprint price | Applications per month | Background automations | AI tailoring |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 5 total | None (Browse & Apply only) | No |
| Starter | $12.67 a month | 200 | 1 | No |
| Pro | $25.00 a month | 500 | 1 | Resume and cover letter per job |
| Elite | $44.00 a month | 1,000 | 2 | Resume and cover letter per job |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Up to 50 | Includes white-label options for agencies |
On monthly billing, plans start at $14 a month, and FastApply’s structured data lists a $14 to $49 range across its three paid plans. According to a review summary in search results, unused monthly credits do not roll over, so the 1,000-application tier only makes sense if you actually have that many good matches.
Is FastApply legit, and is it safe for your accounts?
FastApply is a legitimate company with a real product. The more important question is what its automation does on third-party job boards.
- LinkedIn states in its Help Center that it does not permit “third party software, including ‘crawlers’, bots, browser plug-ins, or browser extensions that scrape, modify the appearance of, or automate activity on LinkedIn’s website,” and that members who use them “risk having their accounts restricted or shut down” (LinkedIn Help).
- Indeed’s Terms of Service, updated September 29, 2026, say that “use of any automation, scripting, or bots to automate the Indeed Apply process outside of Indeed’s official vendors and tooling is prohibited” (Indeed Terms).
Mimicking human behavior may lower the chance of being detected, but it doesn’t make automation compliant with those rules. If you use FastApply, the lower-risk choice is to point it at company career pages and ATS forms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday) rather than at your LinkedIn or Indeed account.
What users say
- Trustpilot: a “Poor” TrustScore of about 2.5 from 8 reviews as of October 2026, according to Google’s snippet of FastApply’s Trustpilot page. The sample is small, so treat it as an early signal.
- Chrome Web Store: about 3.3 out of 5, per Google’s summary of reviews, and roughly 5,000 users as of June 2026 according to a comparison by Resumly.
- Common complaints in review summaries: the bot can stall on mandatory file uploads, fully autonomous mode can enter incorrect or assumed details, unused credits expire monthly and some users found cancellation or support slow.
- Common praise: time saved on repetitive forms across many platforms, and Co-Pilot mode for checking AI answers before submitting.
- Reddit: there are few FastApply-specific threads; the closest discussions are broader comparisons, such as a large r/jobsearchhacks thread (150+ comments) comparing many autofill extensions.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Published, low prices and five free applications without a card
- Wide platform coverage, including major ATS forms
- Co-Pilot mode for reviewing each application
- Background automations with a match-score threshold
- Per-job resume and cover letter tailoring on Pro and Elite
Cons
- Weak early ratings on Trustpilot and the Chrome Web Store
- Automation on LinkedIn and Indeed conflicts with their terms
- Workday, iCIMS, Oracle Cloud and Taleo support still in beta
- Credits don’t roll over; high tiers can encourage volume over fit
- Inconsistent social proof figures across its own pages
What five free applications can tell you
FastApply’s free plan is small, but it is enough for a useful test if you choose the jobs carefully. Pick five real openings you would genuinely accept, ideally on different systems (for example two Greenhouse forms, one Lever form and two others), and run them in Browse & Apply with Co-Pilot on. Watch for three things: whether every required field and upload completes, whether screening answers are accurate rather than assumed, and how much editing you had to do. If all five go through cleanly with little correction, a paid plan is worth considering; if you had to fix most of them, more volume will only multiply the problems.
FastApply vs JobsAICopilot
Both tools tailor applications and offer a review step. The main differences are where applications go, how you pay and how the volume is capped. JobsAICopilot is our product.
| Feature | FastApply | JobsAICopilot |
|---|---|---|
| Price per week | About $3.23 on the $14 monthly plan | $14.54 (Premium) or $17.92 (Elite) |
| Price per month | $14 to $49 monthly; $12.67 to $44 on the 90-Day Sprint | About $63 (Premium) or $78 (Elite) on weekly billing; monthly and quarterly billing lower the weekly cost |
| Auto-apply | Yes, on 20+ job boards and ATS forms | Yes, on verified listings on official company career pages |
| Applications per day | About 7 to 33, based on 200 to 1,000 a month | Up to 20 (Premium) or 50 (Elite) |
| Review mode | Co-Pilot mode | Review Mode lets you approve every application before it is sent |
| Resume tailoring | Per job on Pro and Elite | AI-tailored resume for every application on Elite; AI Resume Creator on both plans |

| Free trial | 5 free applications | No free trial |
FastApply figures as of October 2026, from its pricing page. JobsAICopilot figures from its pricing page.
FastApply is cheaper. JobsAICopilot applies only to verified listings on official company career pages, so it doesn’t operate inside your LinkedIn or Indeed account, and it bundles interview, salary and cover letter tools.
Who should use it (and who shouldn’t)
FastApply fits you if you:
- Want a low-cost extension that fills ATS forms quickly
- Are willing to supervise applications in Co-Pilot mode
- Mostly apply on company ATS pages rather than through LinkedIn or Indeed accounts
Skip it if you:
- Depend on your LinkedIn or Indeed account and can’t risk restrictions
- Want a mature product with a long track record of reviews
- Apply to few, carefully chosen roles where speed adds little
Alternatives
Other options to compare:

Verdict
As of October 2026, FastApply is a legitimate, affordable and flexible auto-apply extension with good platform coverage, published prices and a sensible Co-Pilot mode. It is still young: ratings are thin and weak, some ATS integrations are in beta, and its automation on LinkedIn and Indeed runs against those platforms’ rules. Use the five free applications on company ATS forms, keep Co-Pilot on and only scale up if the submissions look right.
If you’d rather have applications sent only to verified listings on company career pages, with every one approved in Review Mode, see how AI automated job application works in JobsAICopilot, or compare plans on our pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Still have a question?
Write to contact@jobsaicopilot.com or visit our contact page.
Is Fast Apply free?
Partly. FastApply gives you five free applications with no credit card, and the free plan includes the in-browser Browse and Apply mode only. Background automation, larger monthly volumes and per-job AI resume and cover letter tailoring need a paid plan. In October 2026 paid plans started at $14 a month, or $12.67 a month on its 90-day option.
Is FastApply legit?
Yes. FastApply is a real product from FastApply LTD with a Chrome Web Store listing, published pricing, a support address and thousands of users. Legitimate does not mean risk-free: its browser automation works on job boards whose terms restrict bots, and early Trustpilot reviews are poor. Test it on the free applications and watch what it submits.
Is FastApply legit on Reddit?
Reddit has little discussion focused only on FastApply in 2026. It comes up mostly in threads where people compare several autofill and auto-apply extensions, with mixed experiences about accuracy on complex forms. Because many comparison posts online are written by competing tools, weigh first-hand Reddit accounts and your own free test more than any ranking.
What is the best AI tool for automatically applying for jobs?
There is no single best tool for everyone. Look for per-job resume tailoring, a review step before anything is sent, a log of every submission, no need to share job board passwords, applications to verified employer listings, and a monthly price you can cancel easily. Then test on a small batch of roles you would genuinely accept.
Is LinkedIn easy apply worth it?
Easy Apply is worth using for roles where you are a strong match, because it is fast and keeps your application inside a system recruiters monitor. It loses value when you use it for volume: popular postings receive hundreds of one-click applications. Pair it with direct applications on company career pages and outreach to the hiring team for the roles you want most.
