Wobo AI Review (2026): Is Wobo Worth It for AI Job Search?
Wobo is a legit AI job search app with a free plan (5 jobs a day) and tiers at $34.99 and $44.99 a month. Our 2026 review covers pros, cons and Reddit.
Wobo is a legitimate AI job search app that matches you to jobs, lets you swipe right to apply and, on its Autopilot plan, finds roles and applies for you with a tailored resume, cover letter and screening answers written “in your voice.” It has a free plan (about five applications a day) and two paid tiers, Unlimited at $34.99 a month and Autopilot at $44.99 a month, as of October 2026. Ratings are strong (Trustpilot shows 4.6 from 94 reviews), and the app is easy to use. The main criticism from users and reviewers is that automation can feel opaque and slower than expected, so check what it sends during the first weeks.
Key takeaways
- Wobo combines job matching, swipe-to-apply and an Autopilot mode that applies through company career portals.
- Free covers daily matches and about five applications a day; Unlimited costs $34.99 and Autopilot $44.99 a month.
- Every application can be reviewed from the dashboard, before or after it is sent.
- Public ratings are good (4.6 on Trustpilot, 4.7 on Reviews.io), with complaints about speed and transparency of automation.
- It works best for people who want a mobile-friendly, low-effort routine rather than heavy customization.

How we reviewed: we read Wobo’s homepage, pricing page and FAQ on October 7, 2026, and compared them with Trustpilot and Reviews.io data, Reddit discussions and third-party reviews. We did not subscribe to a paid plan.
What is Wobo?
Wobo’s tagline is “Companies have recruiters. Now you do too.” It describes itself as “AI that finds your best matches and applies in your voice,” and as “your AI recruiter that finds and applies to jobs while you sleep.”

Wobo’s own user numbers vary across its pages: its structured data mentions “60K+ job seekers,” while its FAQ says it is “trusted by 131,446 job seekers.” Either way, it is an established consumer app rather than an early experiment.
How Wobo works
Wobo describes four steps:
- Share your background. Upload your resume, answer a few questions and chat with Wobo’s AI. Wobo calls this “the last form you’ll ever fill out.”
- Daily scanning. Wobo scans job sources every day and filters out what it considers ghost listings by “verify[ing] company signals before any job hits your feed.”
- Swipe to apply. Each match shows a match score, salary range and company ratings. Swipe right (or tap “Apply with AI”) to apply, left to decline.
- Wake up to results. Applications go out through company career portals, and responses come back to your dashboard.
The feature Wobo is proudest of is Wobo Persona, a “digital twin” that answers application questions such as “Why should we hire you?” using your resume, approved past answers and writing style, instead of generic AI phrasing. On Autopilot, Wobo also picks the jobs; on Unlimited, you choose by swiping.
Wobo’s FAQ says you can review every application “before or after it’s sent,” with every screening answer, tailored resume and cover letter visible. That transparency is worth using. If you prefer to build each piece yourself, the same steps exist as separate tools: automated job search to find roles, an AI cover letter generator for job-specific letters and automated job applications to submit them.
Wobo AI job search: what “pre-vetted” means for you
Ghost jobs, listings that stay online long after a role is filled or that were never really open, are one of the biggest time sinks in any search. Wobo’s answer is to check “company signals” before a job reaches your feed and to apply through the company’s own career portal rather than a job board’s quick-apply button. That combination is sensible: a role that still exists on the employer’s site is more likely to be live, and an application submitted there lands in the same system the recruiter actually uses.
Two limits are worth keeping in mind. First, Wobo doesn’t publish exactly which signals it checks, so “pre-vetted” is a promise you can’t audit; skim the first matches to see whether they look current. Second, a portal application only helps if the match is good. If your swipes or Autopilot settings are loose, pre-vetting just makes it easier to send applications to real jobs you aren’t qualified for. Tight preferences on salary, seniority and location do more for your results than any filter Wobo applies on its side.
Wobo’s free tools
Even if you never pay for Wobo, three of its tools are free to use, according to its site:
- AI Resume Builder: builds an ATS-friendly resume and suggests stronger, quantified bullet points.
- AI Cover Letter Generator: writes job-specific letters, which Wobo says takes about 30 seconds, “in your voice,” not from a template.
- ATS Resume Checker: scores your resume against “24+ ATS criteria” and explains what to fix.
These tools are useful on their own and give you a low-risk way to judge the quality of Wobo’s writing before letting it apply for you.
Wobo pricing (October 2026)
Wobo’s pricing page is titled “Transparent pricing” and shows monthly prices, with a toggle that says “Save more with quarterly.”
| Plan | Price | Who chooses the jobs | Applications | Highlights |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, “free forever” | You | About 5 a day | Basic matching, 2 AI cover letters |
| Unlimited | $34.99 a month | You (swipe to apply) | Unlimited | Advanced matching, unlimited AI cover letters |
| Autopilot | $44.99 a month | Wobo | Unlimited | ”Wobo finds & applies for you,” AI-tailored resume and cover letter for every application, deep AI matching, advanced voice Persona, priority support, 5-day free trial |
Quarterly prices were not shown in the page source when we checked, so confirm them at checkout. In weekly terms, Unlimited works out to about $8.07 a week and Autopilot to about $10.38 a week on monthly billing.
The free plan is generous enough to judge match quality. The real decision is between Unlimited (you stay in control by swiping) and Autopilot (Wobo decides), which comes down to how much you trust its matching after a few days.
What users say
- Trustpilot: 4.6 out of 5 from 94 reviews as of October 2026, according to Google’s rating snippet for Wobo’s Trustpilot page. Reviewers often mention the resume tools and the time saved.
- Reviews.io: Wobo shows “4.7 out of 5 based on 282 reviews” on its homepage; the Reviews.io listing itself referenced 316 reviews in search results.
- Reddit: in r/wobo_AI, a recent post from the founder asking “what’s the one thing Wobo is still missing for you?” drew 60+ comments. An earlier launch post by its creator on r/Startup_Ideas, “I Built an AI job search assistant that actually works!” (40+ comments, about a year ago), described writing “personalized cover letters for EVERY application.”
- Critical themes: Google’s summary of reviews notes that the number of applications actually submitted can fall short of what users expect, leading to backlogs, that automation can feel “passive or opaque,” and that specialized or portfolio-driven roles fit less well. One comparison by a competing service called the swipe interface “Tinder-style” and noted that early ratings came from a small sample.
The testimonials on Wobo’s own site are, unsurprisingly, glowing: one user reports 195 applications in about five weeks, callbacks from six companies and two interviews. Numbers like these are useful as a reality check: even good automation turns into a handful of interviews, not dozens.

Who should use it (and who shouldn’t)
Wobo fits you if you:
- Want to start free and see real applications before paying
- Like a quick, mobile swipe routine instead of long sessions at a desk
- Apply to mainstream roles where career-portal applications are the norm
Look elsewhere if you:
- Need tight control over which companies receive your application and won’t review the dashboard
- Work in a field where portfolios, referrals or outreach matter more than volume
- Want published quarterly pricing before you sign up
Getting the most from Wobo
- Spend a week on Free or Unlimited first, swiping yourself, so the matching learns what you accept and reject.
- Edit your Persona answers for common questions until they sound like you.
- Use the ATS resume checker before turning on Autopilot, since every tailored version starts from your base resume.
- Review the dashboard daily in the first two weeks, including screening answers.
- Track replies and pause automation for companies where you are already talking to a recruiter.

Verdict
As of October 2026, Wobo is one of the more approachable AI job search apps: a real free plan, a fast swipe-to-apply interface, tailored applications through company career portals and good public ratings. Its weak spots are typical of autopilot tools: matching you can’t fully steer on Autopilot, slower-than-expected volume for some users and limited fit for specialized roles. Start free, review everything for two weeks, then decide whether Autopilot earns your trust.
If you’d rather approve each application yourself with fixed daily limits of 20 or 50, see how automated job search works in JobsAICopilot and compare plans on our pricing page.

Frequently Asked Questions
Still have a question?
Write to contact@jobsaicopilot.com or visit our contact page.
How much does Wobo AI cost?
In October 2026 Wobo had three plans on monthly billing: Free, Unlimited at $34.99 a month and Autopilot at $44.99 a month. Unlimited lets you swipe through matches and apply to as many as you like; Autopilot finds jobs and applies for you with a tailored resume and cover letter. A quarterly option is advertised as cheaper per month.
Is Wobo AI free?
Wobo has a free-forever plan with daily job matches, up to five applications a day and two AI cover letters, with no credit card required. Its resume builder, cover letter generator and ATS resume checker are also offered as free tools. Unlimited applications and full automation need a paid plan, and Autopilot can be tried free for five days.
Is Wobo AI legit?
Yes. Wobo is a real product from Wobo AI, founded by CEO Serdar Aksoy and based in Brooklyn, New York, with an iOS app, a support address and public reviews on Trustpilot and Reviews.io. Like any auto-apply tool, it can still send applications you would not have chosen, so review the first batches before trusting full automation.
Can employers tell if your resume was written by AI?
Not reliably from the file itself, but recruiters notice generic phrasing, buzzword-heavy summaries and claims that do not match your experience. Detection matters less than credibility: if a tailored resume says you led a project, you must be able to explain it. Use AI to reorder and rephrase real achievements, then edit the result so it sounds like you.
Does Wobo work outside the US?
Yes. Wobo says it works globally and scans career portals in the United States, Europe, Canada, Australia and beyond, applying wherever companies post jobs. Coverage and match quality still vary by country and language, so check how many relevant matches you get on the free plan in your market before upgrading to a paid tier.
