JobWizard Review (2026): Is the AI Autofill Extension Legit and Worth It?

JobWizard is a legit Chrome autofill extension: 30 free autofills a week, $19.99 passes. Pricing, data use, refunds and ratings. Updated October 2026.

JobWizard review 2026: AI autofill Chrome extension pricing, privacy, refund terms and alternatives

JobWizard is a legitimate AI autofill Chrome extension, not an auto-apply bot: it fills application forms on sites such as Workday, Greenhouse and Lever while you review and click submit. The Free plan allows 30 job autofills a week, and paid access is sold as pay-once 30-day passes at $19.99 (Plus) and $39.99 (Pro), according to its pricing page on October 14, 2026. It suits people who apply to a few roles at a time and want repetitive forms handled, but not anyone who wants applications sent for them.

Key takeaways

  • JobWizard fills forms and drafts answers; you submit each application yourself, so it is autofill rather than auto-apply.
  • Free gives 30 autofills and 30 cover letters a week; Plus ($19.99) and Pro ($39.99) are 30-day passes with no auto-renew, as of October 2026.
  • Its terms (updated August 2026) ban “large-scale automated job applications,” so it is not built for volume.
  • Resume and job data can be sent to AI providers such as OpenAI and Groq, which the privacy policy says may not retain or train on it.
  • Its own pages disagree on users (30,000+ vs 10,000+) and applications (1M+ vs 300,000+), and we found no Trustpilot page.

Further down we also compare JobWizard with JobsAICopilot, our AI job application bot.

How we reviewed: we read JobWizard’s homepage, pricing page, terms and privacy policy on October 14, 2026, looked at search results for its Chrome Web Store listing, and compared them with Reddit discussions and third-party reviews. We did not buy a pass or run the extension.

What is JobWizard?

JobWizard describes itself as an “AI-Powered Job Copilot” delivered as a Chrome extension plus a web dashboard. Its core job is job application autofill: you build a profile from your resume once, then the extension fills text inputs, dropdowns, checkboxes and custom questions on supported application forms.

Those user claims are the company’s own, and they do not all agree (see the legitimacy section below). Treat “20x more offers” and “300% more interviews” on its homepage as marketing: no method or source is given.

How JobWizard works

  1. Create an account and a profile. You upload a resume, which JobWizard parses into a reusable profile.
  2. Open a job page. On a supported site the extension activates and shows a job summary, keyword highlights and a match score.
  3. Autofill the form. One click fills the fields it can answer from your profile. Open-ended questions use its “Answer it” feature, which drafts text with AI.
  4. Generate a cover letter if needed. Cover letters are written per posting in several tones, within your weekly allowance.
  5. Review and submit. The homepage says “Review, submit, done.” The terms add that you alone are responsible for verifying AI-generated content.
  6. Track the result. Applications go to a tracker, and forwarding recruiter emails from Gmail lets it label them as interview, offer or rejection.

This is a different job from automated job search or an AI automated job application service: JobWizard does not look for roles for you or send anything on a schedule. It also does not write a new resume per job, although “resume retouches” are included in the weekly limits. If you want that part separately, an AI resume creator and an AI cover letter generator cover it.

JobWizard pricing (October 2026)

According to JobWizard’s pricing page (checked October 14, 2026), there are three tiers. The page shows 30-day pay-once prices by default.

PlanPriceAutofills per weekCover letters per weekExtras
Free$0 forever3030Match score, tracker, 10 referrer lookups a week
Plus$19.99 per 30 days200200Premium AI models, unlimited email tracking, 30 referrer lookups, direct line to the team
Pro$39.99 per 30 daysUnlimitedUnlimitedPriority support, priority beta access, 100 referrer lookups

Two details matter. First, Plus and Pro passes are “Pay once · No auto-renew,” and your account “auto-downgrades to Free” afterward, so there is no surprise charge from a pass. Second, the page also offers 7-day and 90-day passes and an auto-renewing monthly option, but the prices for those did not appear in the page we read, so check the toggle before you buy.

Cost reasoning. Plus works out to about $0.67 a day, and 200 autofills a week is roughly 28 a day, which is far more than most people can use well. Pro only makes sense for a short, intense sprint. Most people will find the 30 free autofills a week enough to apply to a handful of roles carefully.

Refunds. According to its terms (updated August 2026), a 7-day pass is final once activated. For 30-day and 90-day passes you can ask for a full refund within 7 days of purchase and 50% from day 8 through day 14. Monthly plans cancel through Manage Subscription, which stops renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.

Is JobWizard legit and safe?

Legit: yes, with some loose ends. The terms name JobWizard Inc. with a San Diego address, California governing law and a privacy policy updated September 1, 2026. Prices are public and the free tier is real. Loose ends: we could not read the Chrome Web Store rating or review count directly, and the numbers on its own pages conflict.

Other sites quote store ratings between 3.7 and 4.5, which we did not verify. We found no Trustpilot page for jobwizard.ai on October 14, 2026.

Data. Your resume, work history and generated content are stored in your account. The privacy policy says resume and job data “may be sent to AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Groq)” and that it does “not permit these providers to retain or train on your data.” It does not sell personal information, uses Google Analytics and PostHog session replay, and says it deletes personal data within 30 days of account deletion. The homepage line “never shared with model providers” is therefore too strong, and the policy is the better guide. Email tracking works through a Gmail forwarding rule, not Gmail access: the policy says it does not use Gmail OAuth or browse your inbox.

Job-board rules. JobWizard fills fields while you press submit, which is closer to what boards tolerate than unattended bots. It is still a browser extension acting on pages, so read the rules of the sites you use. LinkedIn, for example, says it does not permit third-party software or browser extensions that “automate activity on LinkedIn’s website” (LinkedIn Help). Our guide explains whether auto-apply can get you blacklisted.

Its own terms. JobWizard’s acceptable-use section forbids using the service for “large-scale automated job applications.” That fits an autofill tool, and it is a reason not to treat it as a volume engine.

What users say

  • Reddit: discussion is sparse and mostly inside comparison threads. In an r/jobsearchhacks thread on autofill tools (June 2026), one commenter wrote that they would trust autofill “as long as I’m the one submitting” and said they use JobWizard. An August 2025 r/jobhunting thread lists it among Chrome extensions worth checking. Both are recommendations, and we cannot confirm the commenters are independent.
  • Chrome Web Store: JobWizard’s homepage shows 4.9 stars and quotes dated reviews such as one praising Workday forms from April 2026. These are selected by the company. Independent summaries range from 3.7 to 4.5, so check the live listing.
  • Third-party reviews: one competitor’s post (March 2026) claims cancellations and refunds are difficult and complains about promotional emails. It is written by a rival, and its other claims do not match JobWizard’s pass model, so weigh it lightly.
  • Common praise: time saved on Workday and similar multi-page forms; a usable free tier.
  • Common complaints: the few critical notes we found concern refunds, promotional emails and the weekly caps on the Free plan; none comes from a large independent sample.

  • Unverified rating and no Trustpilot page
  • Refund window is short, and 7-day passes are final

Verdict

As of October 14, 2026, JobWizard is a legitimate, inexpensive autofill extension with a usable free plan, public prices and a sensible no-auto-renew pass model. Its weak points are inconsistent figures on its own pages, an unverified store rating, third-party AI processing of your resume and a short refund window. Use the free tier on one real Workday or Greenhouse application, check every field, and upgrade only if you hit the weekly cap.

If you would rather have openings found, tailored and applied to only on verified company career pages, with every application approved in Review Mode, see how AI automated job application works in JobsAICopilot, or compare plans on our pricing page. Frequently Asked Questions

Still have a question?

Send us a message from our contact page.

Is JobWizard free?

Partly. According to its pricing page (checked October 14, 2026), the Free plan costs $0 forever and includes 30 job autofills a week, 30 cover letters, match scores and an application tracker. Higher weekly limits, premium AI models and priority support need a paid pass: Plus at $19.99 or Pro at $39.99 for 30 days.

Is JobWizard legit?

Yes. JobWizard is a real Chrome extension operated by JobWizard Inc., which lists a San Diego, California address in its terms, a privacy policy updated September 1, 2026 and published prices. Legit does not mean flawless: its own pages give conflicting user and application counts, and we found no Trustpilot page to check independent reviews.

Is JobWizard safe to use?

It is a reasonable risk if you accept what it reads. The extension sees the job pages you open, and its privacy policy says your resume and job data may be sent to AI providers such as OpenAI and Groq, which it does not permit to retain or train on the data. It does not sell personal data. Review every autofilled answer before you submit.

How much does JobWizard cost?

As of October 14, 2026, JobWizard costs $0 on the Free plan, $19.99 for a 30-day Plus pass and $39.99 for a 30-day Pro pass. The passes are paid once, do not auto-renew and drop you back to Free when they end. A separate auto-renewing monthly option exists, but its price was not visible on the static pricing page.

Does JobWizard work on Workday?

Yes, Workday is one of its headline platforms. JobWizard lists Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Ashby, SmartRecruiters and Taleo autofill pages, and its homepage says it fills text inputs, dropdowns, checkboxes and custom questions. Coverage claims vary across its pages (20+ ATS, 500+ or 1000+ platforms), so test it on one real Workday form first.

JobWizard vs Simplify: which is better?

They are close. Both are free-to-start Chrome autofill extensions where you click submit. Simplify offers a free Copilot plus job matching and a paid Simplify+ at $39.99 a month; JobWizard adds weekly-capped AI cover letters, a referral finder and Gmail-forwarding email tracking, with $19.99 30-day passes. Try both free tiers on the same three applications.

Can I get a refund from JobWizard?

Sometimes. According to its terms (updated August 2026), a 30-day or 90-day pass can be refunded in full within 7 days of purchase and by 50% from day 8 to day 14. A 7-day pass is final once activated, and canceling a monthly plan stops renewals without automatically refunding past charges.
