Enhancv Review (2026): Pricing, Free Version, Pros and Cons
Enhancv review (October 2026): is it legit, the 7-day free plan, Pro at $39 a month or $69 a quarter, refund rules and what Trustpilot and Reddit say.
Enhancv is a legitimate, design-led resume builder: Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 1,007 reviews on October 23, 2026. It is not free for long, though. The free plan lasts seven days, then Pro costs $39 a month, $69 every three months or $99 every six, and a used monthly payment is not refundable.
Verdict box (checked October 23, 2026)
Price and renewal: Pro $39 a month, $69 every 3 months ($23 a month) or $99 every 6 months ($16.50 a month), per Enhancv’s US pricing page; taxes may be added. Every plan renews automatically until you cancel on the Billing page.
Refund: used monthly fees are non-refundable; quarterly and semiannual plans can get a partial pro-rated refund, charged at the monthly rate for the months used (terms last updated May 28, 2025).
Free trial: a 7-day free plan with Enhancv branding and a 12-item limit per section; Enhancv’s help center says no card is needed.
Where it applies: nowhere. It builds and tailors resumes and cover letters; you download a PDF (or TXT) and apply yourself.
Best for: a polished, designed resume over one to three months, cancelled before the next renewal. Not for sending many applications.
Key takeaways
- Enhancv is a real company with strong ratings (Trustpilot 4.6 from 1,007 reviews, October 2026); templates and layout control are its main strength.
- The free plan lasts seven days, needs no card, and carries Enhancv branding and a 12-item limit per section.
- As of October 2026 the quarterly plan ($69, about $23 a month) is the price most people compare; the monthly plan is $39.
- Refunds are pro-rated for quarterly and semiannual plans only, so cancel on the Billing page before the renewal date.
- Praise centers on design and tailoring; complaints center on price, slow email support and the newer AI assistant.
What is Enhancv?
Enhancv is an online resume and cover letter builder with designed templates, an AI writing assistant and an ATS resume check. Its home page (October 23, 2026) lists these tools:
- AI resume builder and assistant: rewrites bullets, parses an old resume or a LinkedIn profile, and tailors a resume to a pasted job ad, with every change highlighted for you to accept or reject
- Resume checker: “27 in-depth checks” across content, layout, grammar and keyword match, according to Enhancv
- Cover letter generator, job tracker and interview help, plus translation into 30+ languages
- AI job search: matches from “1M+ live ads” for Pro users
Enhancv says it has created 15M+ resumes in 11 years and runs its AI on a mix of OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Deepseek models hosted in the EU. Those are Enhancv’s own claims. Resumes download as a PDF, with TXT also offered; Enhancv’s pricing FAQ says its resumes “download as a PDF” rather than Word.
A resume builder covers one step of a job search. If you also want each application tailored and sent, an AI job application bot does that work, and JobsAICopilot’s AI resume builder writes the CV inside the same plan. More options are in our best AI resume builders roundup.
Is Enhancv legit?
Yes. Enhancv is an established company (its home page claims 11 years in business) with a refund policy, a support channel and public replies to criticism.
According to its terms of service (last updated May 28, 2025), the services are “provided by Enhancv R&D,” under the laws of Bulgaria. Trustpilot lists Enhancv in Sofia, Bulgaria, with a claimed profile since March 2019. Payments run through Paddle, so statements read “PADDLE* ENHANCV”, per Enhancv’s help center.
Legit does not mean flawless: the price, the renewal rules and the recurring complaints follow below.
Is Enhancv free?
Only for seven days. Enhancv’s pricing page (October 23, 2026) lists a free plan “valid for 7 days” with all resume templates, basic sections and all design tools, plus Enhancv branding and a maximum of 12 items per section. Its help center says opening an account needs no card.
After the seven days, Pro is the only plan on offer: it removes the branding and the 12-item limit and adds the ATS check and real-time content suggestions.
Enhancv pricing (October 2026)
As of October 23, 2026, Enhancv’s US pricing page lists Pro at $39 billed monthly, $69 billed every three months ($23 a month) and $99 billed every six months ($16.50 a month), after the seven-day free plan.
| Plan | Price (USD) | Billing | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Valid for 7 days | All templates, basic sections, design tools; Enhancv branding; 12 items per section |
| Pro Monthly | $39 | Every month, auto-renewing | Everything in Pro (below) |
| Pro Quarterly | $69 ($23/month) | Every 3 months, auto-renewing | Everything in Pro; the page shows it against $117 for three monthly payments (“SAVE 41.03%“) |
| Pro Semiannual | $99 ($16.50/month) | Every 6 months, auto-renewing | Everything in Pro |
Pro includes “300 resumes and cover letters,” no branding, unlimited section items, real-time content suggestions and the ATS check. Source: Enhancv’s US pricing page, read October 23, 2026. The page opens on the quarterly plan; the $39 and $99 figures come from the same page’s price data. Enhancv’s help center adds that prices “are subject to taxes and may vary in currency based on the region,” and the pricing page mentions “occasional discounts.”
Other review sites quote older or conflicting numbers. In July 2026 a Reddit user wrote that Enhancv cost “$76 every three months,” above today’s $69 quarterly price (tax or an older price may explain the gap), so check the final amount at checkout.
How do I cancel Enhancv and get a refund?
Cancel on Enhancv’s Billing page before the next billing date. Refunds exist only for quarterly and semiannual plans and are pro-rated; according to its terms, used monthly fees are non-refundable.
- Download your resumes first. After a plan ends the account becomes “read only”: you can view and download documents but not save new edits.
- Cancel on the Billing page before the renewal date. Enhancv’s terms say cancelling is “solely your responsibility,” and you should receive an email confirmation.
- Ask for a refund separately. Enhancv’s help center (April 16, 2026) says cancelling “does not trigger a refund request.” Contact the Help Center or help@enhancv.com with your account email and a receipt.
- Keep records. If you are charged after cancelling and get no refund, the FTC’s guide to free trials and auto-renewals suggests contacting your card issuer.
How the pro-rating works: if you stop a quarterly or semiannual plan early, Enhancv says you are charged “at the price of a Monthly plan” for the months used and refunded the difference. Using the October 2026 prices and whole months, our arithmetic gives:
| Plan | Stop after 1 month | Stop after 2 months | Stop after 3 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quarterly ($69) | $30 refund | No refund ($78 used) | Plan ends |
| Semiannual ($99) | $60 refund | $21 refund | No refund ($117 used) |
These are our calculations, not Enhancv’s figures; Enhancv says you “might be eligible,” and fees reduced by a promo code are non-refundable. On paper, a quarterly plan stopped after one month costs $39, the same as one monthly payment.
Does Enhancv work?
Yes, as a resume tool, according to most reviewers, who praise its designs, structure and tailoring. Enhancv’s own terms add that “AI tools are not a guarantee of employment outcomes,” which holds for every builder.
Its one-click tailoring takes a pasted job ad and proposes changes you accept or reject, and the checker scores the resume against that ad. The newer AI assistant draws the sharpest criticism in recent Trustpilot reviews (see below).
Is Enhancv ATS-friendly?
Enhancv says yes and publishes its own evidence; independent proof is thin. Its article on the topic (updated September 30, 2026) reports a 96.73% average ATS parse score in its own testing and says 23 of 25 US recruiters it interviewed reported no auto-rejection. In the same tests, its two-column resumes scored slightly higher than single-column ones (98% vs 95%). Those are Enhancv’s figures, and we could not check the method.
Not everyone agrees. A Reddit user in r/resumemind (June 2026), whose post also promotes a rival tool, wrote: “When they hit a dual-column Enhancv template, they scramble your dates with your skills.” An Enhancv representative replied in the thread.
What to do about it:
- Pick a single-column layout for conservative employers; Enhancv’s own article recommends its Single Column and Ivy League templates for fields such as finance, law and government.
- Paste your exported PDF into a plain-text editor. If the order is wrong or contact details are missing, an ATS may misread it too.
- Run the final file through our free ATS resume checker, a rule-based tool that reads English resumes only. No tool can guarantee how every employer’s ATS will read your file.
Our ATS resume format guide lists the layout rules that matter most.
What users say about Enhancv: Trustpilot and Reddit (October 2026)
Trustpilot is positive overall (4.6 from 1,007 reviews on October 23, 2026), while Reddit is more skeptical about price. Complaints cluster around cost, slow support and the newer AI assistant.
| Source | What it shows (October 23, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 4.6 from 1,007 reviews; 79% five-star; Enhancv replies to about 84% of negative reviews (24 October 2026) |
| REVIEWS.io widget on Enhancv’s site | ”Excellent” from 5,364 reviews, displayed by Enhancv itself |
| Reddit, r/Resume | A July 2026 thread asking whether the quarterly plan is worth the money |
| Reddit, r/resumemind | A June 2026 post warning that two-column templates can scramble ATS parsing |
Trustpilot. Praise is about ease of use and tailoring: “I can’t imagine using anything else” (October 2026, 5 stars). Complaints are about support and quality: “their support team couldn’t even be bothered to respond to my help ticket within 24 hours” (October 2026, 2 stars). A UK reviewer said the service “should not be sold to customers in its current state” (October 2026, 1 star), citing generic AI rewrites, changed dates after upload and American-leaning formats. Another reviewer said in September 2026 that the GPA field forced a “1.0 / 5.0” format, wrong for Germany. Enhancv publicly replied to its four most recent negative reviews (October 5 to 18) and offered or issued refunds.
Reddit. In the r/Resume thread the poster wrote: “I’m currently subscribed to Enhancv, and it costs me $76 every three months.” One commenter called the prices “predatory,” others questioned paying for a resume subscription at all, and one who used Enhancv after a 2024 layoff said it brought only a few recruiter screens. The thread is small, so treat it as a sample, not a verdict. A commenter who says they are an Enhancv co-founder answered: “if your resume’s already solid and you’re applying to a role or two, you may not need an ongoing subscription.”

JobsAICopilot vs Enhancv
Enhancv builds the document; JobsAICopilot finds jobs and sends applications. JobsAICopilot is our product. Enhancv is better at design and at helping you perfect a single resume, and its quarterly price per month is lower than ours.
| Enhancv | JobsAICopilot | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Design, write and tailor resumes and cover letters; you apply yourself | Finds jobs on company career pages, tailors each application and applies for you |
| Price (October 2026) | $39/month, $69/quarter or $99/6 months | From $33.69/month (Premium); Elite $44.96/month |
| Free option | 7-day free plan, no card | No free trial; cancel anytime |
| Design and templates | Stronger: designed templates and “thousands of design options” on Pro | The AI Resume Creator writes a CV to review and download; design is not our focus |
| Tailoring | One-click, per resume | Cover letter tailored per application; Elite also tailors the CV |
| Job search | AI search across “1M+ live ads” (Pro) | 600,000+ company career pages searched daily |
| Applying | You apply yourself | Up to 20 applications a day (Premium) or 50 (Elite), with Review Mode to approve each |
Enhancv’s own ATS article (updated September 2026) warns: “Think twice before handing your job search to a service that promises to auto-apply you into hundreds of roles.” That is a fair concern about careless volume, and it is why Review Mode lets you approve every application before it is sent. To automate job applications well, you still need a good resume and tight filters. If you want a designed resume first, you can build it in Enhancv and then upload it to JobsAICopilot. JobsAICopilot applies only on official company career pages, not on job boards, and has no free plan.

How we reviewed Enhancv
On October 23, 2026 we read Enhancv’s pricing page, terms of service (last updated May 28, 2025), help center articles (February and April 2026), home page and ATS article, then checked Trustpilot and two Reddit threads. We did not buy a plan or build a resume in Enhancv, so we describe its output only through what Enhancv and its users say. Our editorial policy explains how we review tools, including competitors of JobsAICopilot.
Verdict: is Enhancv worth it? (October 2026)
Yes, for a designed, polished resume. Enhancv is legitimate and well rated, reviewers call it easy to use, and its tailoring and checker are useful for a focused search. Treat the seven-day free plan as a trial, read the renewal rules and cancel before the next billing date.
Enhancv suits you if: design and layout matter, you will use the tailoring and checker for one to three months, and you will apply yourself.
Look elsewhere if: you only need one plain document, you want a Word download, you want a longer free plan, or you want applications found, tailored and sent for you.

Frequently Asked Questions
Still have a question?
Send us a message from our contact page.
Is Enhancv legit?
Yes. Enhancv's terms say its services are provided by Enhancv R&D, Trustpilot lists the company in Sofia, Bulgaria, and on October 23, 2026 Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 1,007 reviews. Complaints focus on price, support speed and the newer AI assistant. Enhancv publicly replied to its four most recent negative reviews and offered or issued refunds.
Is Enhancv free?
Only for seven days. Enhancv's pricing page (October 23, 2026) lists a free plan valid for 7 days, with all templates and design tools, Enhancv branding and a 12-item limit per section, and its help center says no card is required. After that you need a Pro plan: $39 monthly, $69 quarterly or $99 every six months.
How much does Enhancv cost per month?
As of October 23, 2026, Enhancv's US pricing page lists Pro at $39 billed monthly, $69 billed every three months (about $23 a month) and $99 billed every six months ($16.50 a month). Plans renew automatically, taxes may be added, and prices can vary by region, according to Enhancv's help center.
Is Enhancv worth it?
It is worth it if you want a designed, well-organized resume and will use its tailoring and resume checker within one or two billing periods. It is a poor fit if you only need one plain document: in July 2026 an Enhancv co-founder told a Reddit user that a solid resume sent to a role or two may not need an ongoing subscription.
How do I cancel Enhancv and get a refund?
Cancel on Enhancv's Billing page before the next billing date; you get an email confirmation. Cancelling is not a refund request, so ask Enhancv separately. Per its terms (checked October 2026), used monthly fees are non-refundable, while quarterly and semiannual plans can receive a partial pro-rated refund calculated at the monthly rate.
Is Enhancv ATS-friendly?
Enhancv says yes: its September 2026 article reports a 96.73% average parse score, but that is the company's own testing. Some of its templates use two columns, which a Reddit user in June 2026 said can scramble dates and skills. For strict employers pick a single-column template, then paste your PDF into a plain-text editor to confirm the reading order.
What are the common complaints about Enhancv?
On Trustpilot in October 2026, complaints centered on the price, support tickets answered slowly, formatting errors and the newer AI assistant rewriting text or changing dates. A UK reviewer said the formats lean American, and a German reviewer reported a wrong GPA format. Enhancv publicly replied to its four most recent negative reviews and offered or issued refunds.
